The LCD display of the RTX Standalone Cordless Skype Phone shows all of your Skype friends/buddies who are online.

The easy-to-use functionality means making a Skype/Skype Out call couldn't be easier! Simply either select the contact you wish to call or dial the required number and chose whether to Skype Out or use your normal phone line.

The unit includes a base station, cordless handset and charging dock.

Simply plug the base station into your router and existing landline and plug the charging dock and phone into a power socket.

The RTX Standalone Cordless DualPhone comes complete with step-by-step installation instructions, has approximately 300 metre range and uses the latest DECT technology to allow crystal clear calls.

This means, for example, that you can be in the garden, or at a neighbours house and still receive calls. And, as we mentioned, there's no need to have the computer switched on as the phone is a complete standalone solution!

Furthermore, the handset and charging dock DO NOT need to be located in the same place as the base station (which plugs in to the router and telephone line). Meaning the phone can be kept anywhere in the house as long as there is a power supply.
